XLPE insulated power cable
Cross-linked polyethylene power cable is simply named XLPE power cable. This product is used for power device with 35KV AC rated voltage and below or electric circuit to transfer electric circuit. XLPE insulated power cable has excellent mechanical performance, electric performance and anticorrosive performance. Besides, it also has the advantages of simple structure, small outer diameter, light weight, unrestricted laying, and convenient transportation and so on, so it is widely used in electric power, metallurgy, chemical industry and urban grid construction.

Note: Type 1 is suitable for three-phase system whose earth fault continuous time is not over 1 min every time.,
Type 2 is suitable for three-phase system whose earth fault continuous time is not over 2 hours every time. At most , not over 8 hours.
 

Main parameters and laying requirement
(1) D.C. resistance: When 20, the R of every kilometerΩ/km should not be over the rule
(2)Voltage test: Under ambient temperature,conductor apply with 3.5Uo power frequency voltage for the earth. After 5 minutes, disruptive needed.
(3) partial discharge testAS for 3.6/6KV and more, when applying 1.73Uo between conductor and metal shield,partial discharge not over 5Pc.
(4) Max. short circuit temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250(5s maximum duration ).
